I consider Drepung Gomang my home of worship. Besides being a place for meditation and worship, and an education center for non-violence, the facility is beautiful and welcoming to all.

I encourage everybody to visit this center. A warm welcoming space. Doesn't matter what faith or religion you practice. This is a place to share your experience of life and join in meditation and reflection. This place has a big heart.

Definitely a place to check out if your stopping by the area! I got to see then making and destroying a sand mandala, and afterwards they had dinner, you have to pay for the momos but they taste amazing! (even the vegetarian ones) They don't always do these events but you can still check it out when they are not having one!
