**2023 update** Amy Rivers is absolutely the best agent one can possibly hope for. She is a true professional and a very trustworthy person. She provided good and genuine advice. This is our second time working with Amy. Even before we started the search we knew that we wanted to work with Amy from such a fantastic first experience. The second time around we were looking in the suburbs and it's a whole other level of competition compared to NYC. Amy helped manage very tricky situations and difficult counterparts. She pushed hard where she needed to and got us a second chance at our house when the bidding process was not clear. She went above and beyond what one would expect a broker would do for their client. Even our other service providers commented on how responsible and reliable Amy is. I knew having a real estate agent would be crucial to finding an apartment in NYC, and I’m so glad that I chose to work with Elika Real Estate. Amy Rivers was the most wonderful person to work with. She was super helpful and patient, answering any question (no matter how silly) I might have. She really took into account my needs and wants when compiling a list of apartments during the viewing and I’m so happy to say that I’ve found my dream home. My husband and I happened upon Elika Real Estate while looking for a broker to assist us with the purchase of our new apartment. We submitted a request via the website, and were very fortunate that Amy Rivers responded to our request. We had a great initial conversation with Amy about our needs and she was quick to provide us with options to start considering. We also provided options to Amy and she efficiently arranged all of the viewings that we wanted. We had a fun time looking at apartments with Amy. She asks a lot of great questions, and gave us a lot of food for thought as we looked at each option. The apartment we ended up deciding to purchase was one that was a suggestion from Amy and wasn't even on our radar. Amy was there for us and responsive throughout the whole process from research through purchase. She was always available for us to answer questions, give guidance, and just help keep us sane throughout the process. When my partner and I moved to NYC during the pandemic and started looking at buying our first condo, we weren’t sure what to expect. In Boston, we only had negative experiences with real estate agents and were apprehensive about working with one. I found Elika Real Estate in a Google search, and liked how they were buyer’s agents that would represent our best interests. Enter Amy Rivers. From the start, Amy was so thoughtful about our wants and needs for our new home, and was extremely knowledgeable about the NYC real estate market - down to each neighborhood. She was responsive each time we requested a showing (and there were a lot!) and was always kind and thoughtful throughout the process. Even after one of our deals fell through, she maintained her positive energy and knew we would find our perfect home. Amy was an absolute joy to work with, and a true gem in this industry. I would recommend her highly to anyone looking for their new home or property in the NYC area!
