Ethos Climbing is a premier bouldering gym in downtown Toronto, offering a spacious, naturally lit facility with high-quality World Cup holds and volumes. Known for its fast reset schedule and massive Kilter board, it provides dynamic climbs for all skill levels. The gym features a fitness area, an on-site espresso bar with snacks, and a welcoming community vibe, making it ideal for training, socializing, or co-working. With stunning views and friendly staff, it's a top choice for climbers seeking a modern, engaging experience.
I used to climb at various other gyms in Toronto but no one compares to this one. The set ups are exciting and dynamic, massive kilter board, and people here are so lovely!! Staff and climbers both! The ability to hangout, get some coffee and co-work is such a benefit as well. Also the huge windows make for such beautiful natural light. Overall a beautiful space to climb and do some work with friends:))
After tax, I paid 31.63 for a day pass. Prices have been going up at all climbing gyms across toronto, but this one bugs me a lot because it is such a SMALL gym with a tiny training area, no cable machines, and only bouldering, vs other gyms that also include rope climbing for around the same price. Its gets super crowded in the evenings and weekends and so if youre an introvert, avoid coming at rush hour. There is a section of the gym where two walls face each other and it feels rather unsafe to fall there, as people like to stand in the middle and leave their stuff on the mat. The staff do their best to police this, but the layout of the gym encourages this. The kilter board is huge and offers really good training opportunity and the route setting is good, although, most feel short.
The most spacious, clean, and brightly lit climbing gym in downtown Toronto, this facility truly excels. Its open layout is refreshing, and the setting team consistently provides fresh, high-quality climbs with a much quicker rotation than its competitors. It would be my ideal home gym, save for the lack of top-rope options.
Amazing climbing gym! Staff is fantastic! Very chill and friendly vibe. Boulder problems are challenging and fun. AMAZING views as you scale the walls. Lots of natural lighting when climbing during the early mornings and days. Super huge kilter board! It's massive! It'll have you climbing for days.
A stunning new gym with lots and lots of natural light, the biggest kilter board they make and World Cup holds and volumes. This gym is small but mighty, there are enough routes to keep you going all session and shop for a new project, plus the kilter board is perfect for if you run out of things to climb (which is unlikely because their reset schedule is pretty fast). They also have a fitness area with all the basics you need to get a great training session done. Plus, they have a proper espresso machine with great coffee as well as pastries and other awesome snacks. All in all I would definitely recommend a visit and if you’re thinking of switching gyms it’s totally worth it for the high quality holds, volumes, coffee and amazing staff.
