The New Year started off with a delicious and nutritious breakfast. We enjoyed steel cut oatmeal and the Tri athlete omelette. Both were amazing and perfectly prepared. Our server Camille was friendly and made sure our experience was wonderful. This is consistently the best breakfast spot in Gilbert.

So so very good! Lovely bustling spot for breakfast. We were visiting friends in town and loved the eggs benedict and the chorizo omelette. Btw the kids chocolate chip pancakes are delicious and enormous.

Always a good breakfast here! They cook omelets in real butter upon request. I love the carafe of coffee at the table! Muffins are seed oil free and delicious! Expect a wait on weekend mornings. We were told 20-30 mins and waited about 15 mins which isn’t terrible

I had the pleasure of eating at First Watch in Gilbert on Val Vista, and it was such a great experience! The food was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with quality ingredients. Everything on the menu feels like it’s designed to start your day on a good note. The atmosphere is bright, uplifting, and welcoming—perfect for a relaxing breakfast or brunch with friends and family. On top of that, the service was excellent. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything about our visit went smoothly. It’s rare to find a place that combines great food, a positive environment, and genuinely amazing service all in one, but this First Watch really delivers. I’ll definitely be coming back again soon!

This was my first time trying First Watch, and now I may just be a regular! They have 9 locations, so go try one near you if you haven't already. I had the Million Dollar Bacon and the Blueberry Lemon Cornbread. The bacon was exquisite! Perfectly cooked, still meaty, with just the right amount of seasoning, no heat to it either. I could have eaten 2 orders myself. The cornbread was definitely large enough to share, but I accepted the challenge and won! They give you an ample amount of butter on top that slowly melts into the cornbread and then melts in your mouth! Well worth a try. Even the coffee was really good! The manager, Tasha, and her crew were very friendly, helpful and courteous too. Nice to see so many smiling faces on a Monday lol!
