After spending alot of time calling and visiting just about every Adelaide nursery, this morning I phoned Garden Grove Nursery with the list of plants that I was looking for. A member of staff called Belinda answered the phone, incredibly helpful. So drove out there and Belinda helped me with plant selections and was so knowledgeable. Thank you to Belinda and you have a new customer for Garden Grove Nursery.

Please train your staff. We are a local landscaping business and in the past 10 years of operating never allowed ourselves to treat customers like this. As a regular customer I was disappointed today as close to the end of the day I attended to purchase some mulch for my client and the young lady at front counter was very rude and abrupt. We all have problems in our lives but don't bring that to workplace. I just asked for opening hours and if I could get the earliest possible time due to hot weather, which I was hit back with an abrupt response that " We can't send our staff before opening hours can we?" She made a few more abrupt comments. Not a pleasant experience. Please please train them, although good manners are hard to teach.

This is a regular nursery of mine for supplies. However. Today was not an ideal experience. I needed some bark that was outside. I grabbed a trolley that was also outside. A kind gentleman that worked there approached me. I asked what the procedure was here and he said to load up what I needed ( a few bags of bark and one compost) and proceed inside to the checkout. That's exactly what I did. As I wheeled the trolley inside a lady serving at the counter called out in a hostile manner, pointed at the door and said. " Don't you bring that in here". I was quite upset at her mannerism as I was doing what is been previously told. I replied what I had said above and she continued to inform me of what should happen. I said to her, "Don't speak to me like that as there are no signs and obviously the gentleman outside doesn't know the procedure". She replied "isn't it common sense?". I replied, "that's a silly question". This was in front of other waiting customers and I felt belittled. As I paid for it. I was going to purchase more goods inside, however, with her attitude, I thought best if I go elsewhere. Not sure if I'll go back. Pity.

Wonderful garden centre. The gift area is fsntastic with a huge range of gifts. I loved the succulent selection. All plants looked well cared for. It is a bit of a drive for us to visit the centre but well worth it.

Nice calm spot to shop with the little ones. When you're strolling through the plants, the kids can spot lots of garden ornaments. Its a real treasure hunt. Plus a cute cafe ☕️🍪
