I cannot recommend Mirna for nutrition planning and tracking enough! Before we even started I informed her that I was looking at multiple different nutritionists and she didn't pressure me to join or anything. She was very sweet and accommodating and always worked towards the goals I set for myself. Even after mid way through our program when I wanted to change my goals, she adjusted my nutrition plan to accommodate that lifestyle. I've seen great results and have a better time managing my food intake and would happily recommend her to anyone unsure what to do with so much conflicting information online.

Genesis is an amazing business run by amazing people. It all started with a great evaluation experience with Betty who is trained physical therapist and is able to inform you on your strengths and weaknesses. She then paired me up with Mirna to start my training journey. Mirna helped me with both personal training and nutrition. She is amazing at challenging you and pushing yourself to achieve your goals. She does that while being incredibly empathetic. It also helps that she’s so funny and great to talk to. I’m well on my way to achieve my health goals and have been working with her for over a year now. Would highly recommend the business and working with Mirna for both training and nutrition.

I’ve been going to this gym for over a year now, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. I train with Delano three times a week, and he’s absolutely phenomenal—knowledgeable, motivating, and always tailoring workouts to push me just the right amount. The gym itself is spotless, well-maintained, and equipped with everything you need, whether you’re into strength training, cardio, or functional workouts. The staff and members are all friendly and welcoming, which makes the environment even better. If you’re looking for a gym with great energy, top-notch equipment, and amazing trainers like Delano, I can’t recommend this place enough!

I have suffered from a shoulder injury for many years, so I was very wary of getting back into the gym for fear of recurring injury. Thanks to the wonderful team at Genesis Training, I was able to successfully get back to working out and lifting weights regularly after years of aggravation. Austin was very thorough and patient with my evaluation, and even suggested some simple exercises to work on before my sessions started to get me going. PT Betty helped me get a great deal of mobility back with her extensive knowledge of my injured area. She always checked in on my concerns, and made sure to make minor adjustments to my work out routines, which helped me stay at the right pace. And special thanks to Delano, who is a first rate trainer and someone that listens to your needs, but also challenges you to try harder, lift just a little more, and stay consistent. A highly recommended place to get your strength and mobility back, and to be around a knowledgeable , courteous and encouraging staff.

Genesis Training has the best personal trainers in Jersey City. I've worked with 2 different trainers since joining 3 years ago and they both have been great. Super attentive and make sure I maintain good form. I was able to see noticeable differences in my strength and body shape after a few months. If you are looking for a trainer, this is the spot!
