This place is the absolute best restaurant not just in Detroit, but the entire state! My girlfriend and I had the sausage, veal piccata, lasagna, and cream puff for dessert. Everything was absolutely perfect including the service and atmosphere too. Can’t wait to return again!

I came into this dining experience knowing it was highly rated, but the unassuming building and entrance didn't initially sell it for me. I'm glad I was very wrong. Starting with the meatballs and calamari for appetizers, both of these dishes were fabulous. The Calamari was tender and flavorful, with a sauce that just enhanced the taste and made it a home run. The meatballs with a ricotta topping and a polenta base were surprisingly delicious. I've never tasted polenta and said, let me eat more of that. The salads caprese and Caesar were amazing. It's a very rare situation where I encounter a salad and devour it as heartily as I would a meal, the caprese was that for me. The delicious tomatoes, balsamic, and basil infused oil tipped this dish into spectacular. The Caesar was also quite good, very well made dressing, and great croutons. Our entrees were the gnocchi in a mushroom cream sauce with an added salmon protein and the lasagna. The lasagna was quite delicious, though not as much of a star as the gnocchi. The gnocchi was melt in your mouth delicious and paired with a perfectly cooked salmon it was a fantastic dish. Our desserts were the tiramisu, cream puff, and grandmothers cake. All three of these were delectable. The grandmothers cake was a wonderful refreshing lemon flavor with a drizzled lemon sauce that was lovely. The cream puff was flakey, decadent, and rich. The tiramisu was flavorful, creamy, and light all in one. I highly recommend checking this place out for yourself and finding your favorites, we will be back to find more of ours.

This is a classic Italian restaurant from another era. Great pasta, great risotto, great sauce. Service was top notch. This place is a little piece of Detroit history. The industrial location is insane but adds to the feeling of its hidden gem character. The bar is a hand carved antique. Love it here.
