Giuseppe's is a cherished family-owned Italian restaurant in Hamilton, offering a cozy, rustic atmosphere where every dish is crafted from scratch with passion. For over 30 years, we've been serving authentic pizzas, pastas, and entrees like parmigiana, gnocchi, and fresh seafood, complemented by a selection of wines. Our friendly service and homemade touch—from complimentary pizza bread to divine tiramisu—make every visit feel like a trip to a proper Italian kitchen. Excellent restaurant. The building is pretty rustic, but the food is certainly homemade from scratch and is very good. The waiter (I believe the owner) was very kind and helpful. The food (we had pizzas and pastas) were both very fresh, homemade, and of high quality. Would definitely recommend!
Hidden gem, my husband and I love this place to unwind and feel like we are in a proper Italian kitchen. Here for the pizza salad and wine but everything is so good. My hubby gets parmigiana or spaghetti and meatballs EVERYTHING is made from scratch and so so good.
I definitely wasn’t expecting to walk into that, in the best way possible. I only ordered takeout this time, but the vibe alone makes me want to come back and sit down to enjoy the full experience. The pizza was great; classic, but with a nice little kick in every bite. You can tell they care about flavour. Can’t wait to return and try more off the menu!
So glad we discovered Giuseppe’s. This made for a wonderful date night experience. The interior is old but charming and comfy. One of the part-owners served us and was very friendly and attentive. The food took a little on the longer side to come out after ordering, but we didn’t mind because it was obviously all cooked fresh and with such uniqueness. We absolutely loved everything we ordered. Delicious, delicious meals. I can’t wait to go back! I highly recommend the fish entrée. Wasn’t busy at all on a Sunday night in December.
Giuseppe’s is a cute little restaurant in the heart of Hamilton. My mom chose this place after hearing rave reviews about it. We sure are very happy we chose to eat here. The decor and atmosphere are very simple but the food is spectacular. Each table of guests gets a complimentary pizza as an appetizer (bread with sauce and cheese). Three people of our party ordered apps. I ordered a salad; the Insalata Italiano which was for 2 so I shared that with my mom. She said it was the best salad she ever had. It’s more of a deconstructed salad with a delicious vinaigrette dressing. My dad ordered the stracciatella and he said it was excellent. For entrees, my mom ordered a shrimp pasta with cream sauce; my grandma ordered pepperoni pizza; my dad ordered the gnocchi, his favourite; and I ordered the manicotti. Our table shared a tiramisu and the waiter brought a candle for my mom to blow out. Divine food and spectacular service!! The waiter told us the business started 30 years ago by a grandfather and now his 2 grandsons own it - it’s awesome supporting local and family-owned! I will certainly be back and thank you Giuseppe’s for making my mom’s night so special! ❤️
