I told the guy who signed me up that I was going to use the gym only 3 months, he said that’s fine and signed me up on 12 months contract which I did not know. I ended up spending cancellation fee and wasting my time to prove of moving so that way when I don’t pay the rest of the bills they would not sue me for that bulshit. The stuff lie at Gold’s Gym…

Make sure you read through the membership because i wanted to cancel and they took 2 weeks to get back to me just to ask if i wanted to cancel. The cancellation process is a pain to deal with and they hit you with all these small charges would not recommend

Stopped in from out of town with my son’s baseball team while in the area for baseball. We don’t have a Gold’s near our home but he wanted to check out one of the “Meccas” … and of course, get an iconic tank. The staffer at the desk, Zack was rocking a great mustache and was super friendly. He made a great shake for my son and they chatted a bit about pumping iron. Seemed like a great facility … staff is definitely welcoming. Well done!

Followed their cancellation procedure because I moved out of the area. Emailed the back office manager who then refused to cancel my membership now they send me to collections bad business will not be recommending.

So, my low rating may be a bit deceptive. I don’t mean this is criticism but as a suggestion. I was one of the first members and I love Mike and his staff. Due to traveling, and some health reasons, I haven’t been going consistently for the past three years. However, I have started back in earnest. But I am finding some of the equipment, especially the cable equipment in the middle of the gym is starting to get a little old in the tooth! Other than that the staff is still great. The fellow patrons all seem great. It’s just time to upgrade this little gym a bit more.
