Have been training with Mark Townsend for a solid 2 months now following an operation November time. He’s been great building my confidence back up at the gym and using machines that are foreign to me. I’ve come on so much with his help and training plans and have hit my fitness goals and moving onto bigger goals with Mark pushing me to my full potential. Without Mark’s expertise, care and passion for his job and gym community I would still be stuck at plateau but can happily say I don’t think that’ll be the case ever again thanks to him and my new found love for JD !!
JD Gym Bristol is honestly one of the best gyms I’ve been to. The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help – it genuinely makes such a difference to the whole gym experience. The gym itself is extremely well equipped, with a huge range of machines and free weights, so you never feel limited no matter what type of workout you’re doing. Everything is clean, spacious, and well maintained, and there’s a great atmosphere that keeps you motivated. Highly recommend!

They provide a wide range of cardio equipment, especially treadmills, which is great. However, the gym lacks some essential lower-body strength machines, such as a leg press. There used to be a leg press machine, but it has been out of service for over a month and has not yet been repaired.
