We visited Joey’s, and the restaurant is absolutely beautiful with a stunning ambiance and an incredible view that really elevates the experience. The overall vibe feels premium and perfect for a relaxed evening out. We ordered the prawn pizza, which was a bit underwhelming. The base was slightly hard, and the prawns lacked flavor. For a wood-fired pizza, we expected it to be softer and fluffier. We also tried the mushroom arancini balls, which were decent but not particularly memorable. The margaritas were excellent and definitely a highlight. Overall, Joey offers a great atmosphere, amazing views, and good drinks

We celebrated my birthday at Joey’s, and wow — the view alone is worth the visit. Absolute riverfront magic ✨ The drinks were fantastic, and the spaghetti was a total standout — rich, comforting, and absolutely divine. My husband and son were very happy campers with the barramundi, which they both polished off with zero complaints (always a good sign!). The only let-down was the pizza and calamari, which didn’t quite live up to the rest of the menu and felt a bit forgettable compared to the stars of the day. Overall, a gorgeous spot for a celebration with some truly delicious highlights. 🍝🍸🐟✨

Great vibes and stunning views at the top of Kangaroo Point. The atmosphere was lovely, with a beautiful elevated view overlooking Brisbane city. The food was decent—nothing too fancy—but enjoyable. Price-wise, it’s slightly above average, which feels reasonable given the prime location and the view. Special thanks to Amali for her warm and attentive service. Her thoughtful care truly made our dinner more memorable. Good job!

The restaurant was located at Kangaroo Point where the city scene was very spectacular. Viewing at night should be better since the sunshine would not hit up the place which was not air-conditioned. There were some public parking lots along the road. Stairway to the lower part of the cliff was just adjacent to it. The waitresses were cheerful and helpful. They would give suggestions and change the plates for sharing food. Time was limited for the stay since the eatery was welcomed especially during weekends. Toilet was available outside and key was required. It was quite clean. Quality of food was fine.

Our dining experience was absolutely fantastic! We visited the Restaurant some time ago, when Joe still owned it. The recent renovations truly transformed the place, making it even more inviting. We indulged in just a few dishes for the two of us, but each bite was a delight—the bread and pizza were incredibly delicious. The calamari was tender and flavorful, while the spicy squid added a fiery kick that kept us on our toes. The view was breathtaking, making the entire meal even more memorable. Customer service was a pleasant bonus, but the scenery and food stole the show!
