I've been coming here for over a decade and love the teachings and great community. They have a lovely cafe now where folks can hang out after a class or meditation and share practical ways to put these teachings into practice and improve our lives.

Absolutely love coming to the Kadampa Center for Sunday morning meditation. It is always enlightening and refreshing to hear Buddha's teachings translated to a modern context in such a welcoming environment. Their kid's meditation is also one of my favorite parts of coming here. Highly recommend stopping in if your are already a Buddhist or someone completely new to Buddhism and curious to learn more.

My son attends the children's class. This consists of a guided meditation session, followed by a lecture, and then a craft made by the teacher that the children are allowed to personalize and take home to remind them of the lesson. Kadampa Meditation Center is family friendly and a good place to begin your study of Buddhism. They offer practical advice on daily living that does not conflict with the American lifestyle. You will not have to learn a whole new culture in order to fit in and feel a part of the community. They're good people doing their best to practice Buddhist teachings.
