my first meal in BNE! one thing about me: i absolutely LOVE cheese 🧀 the cheese katsudon was a perfect balance. you’d think that the cheese would make everything feel “too much” but it was just the right amount to compliment the meal. the cheese also wasn’t “runny”, which is a pet peeve of mine. the carbonara udon was lighter than i thought! i loved the subtleness of the cheese. the noodles were cooked perfectly.

I ordered a tomahawk set and the portion from the kitchen was maybe a bit smaller or didnt get to the weight it should be. The staff came and let me know that they were cooking another dish of katsu as a compliment. Service mind and quality awareness here is superb. Taste and all else you already know. 😍

Delicious! I’ve been wanting teishoku/set meals for the longest time and this hit the spot. Delicious chicken katsu, really well cooked rice, and all the sides were also delicious. In terms of atmosphere, it’s air conditioned inside and there’s lots of comfortable seating with space between tables and also some limited seating outside. Note it’s one bill per table.

We ordered spicy soba + cheese Katsu onside and prawn katsu. Have been this place few times and always a good choice when you need comfort food. Stringy Cheese + deep fried pork. So tasty! The place also offers healthy choices, variety of options. Great place for casual dinning.

I tried the tofu bento at KatsuCo Toowong and really enjoyed it. The tofu was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft inside, with the katsu sauce adding just the right flavour. The sides- fresh cabbage, rice, pickles, and miso soup, made it a balanced and satisfying meal. A lovely option for anyone looking for a lighter or vegetarian choice. Also, staff are extremely friendly and attentive. 😊
