Very welcoming group that meets weekly in a nice location, typically does two 30 minute sessions, with a walking meditation in between, followed by coffee and a weekly koan discussion. Strongly recommended.

Have been going for several years. Have made some wonderful friends in the group. Nice setting in Seal Beach. The Zen teacher, WaYu, is kind and personable. He is the real deal and is very knowledgeable about all things Zen. Newcomers are always welcome. If you can't stay the whole meditation session, no worries. Arrive, stay, depart as you wish. No fees, only a suggested donation. Good snacks too with hot tea and coffee. Come and find out for yourself. Peace.
