Madsen’s Bowling & Billiards and EJ’s Lounge & Grill

After bowling at all alleys in Lincoln, here is an honest review. The lanes, setters, and equipment are older. The return is rough and need a more permanent repair then a towel used to make a transition. The facility is wonderful, as when bowling it's quiet. The crew is unbelievably responsive as they are kind. I bowl here often and not once did I need to wait long for anything. There are newer updated bowling alleys. Often they are very busy and often you will find you are stuck in between a lot of people. For me, this makes focusing on my game difficult. So, what is the take away? This has a very local home feel where people say hi as you walk by. I don't play pool, so I have no valuable input here. However, I have been to many bowling alleys and this feels like it did in the 80s when I was bowling daily. You should feel at home, as this is what makes Madsen's different. I love coming here and working around the few mechanical issues on the lanes is for me worth trouble.

Without a doubt, Madsen's is the ultimate spot for a fun gathering. The atmosphere is a vibe, food is fantastic and the staff is hands down wonderful. Madsen's was a HUGE hit for our football team and the families. Can't say enough good things!

We loved it! Food service was great minus my food didn't ordered from the front. So I never got it until we were about to leave. Other than that my bitty absolutely loved it and we will come again!

There was only one person working the day I was there & I didn’t do the right thing & reserve any bowling lanes for my daughters sweet 16 birthday party. But the lady that was working did a fantastic job with me just springing it on her. She stayed on top of bringing out the pizzas & the sodas even kept a smile on her face when she had to keep coming over to fix something on the lane or to save the bowling ball that couldn’t make it all the way down the lane. Thank you to the wonderful lady that helped me make my daughter’s sweet 16th birthday party so sweet.

Madsen’s Billiard is a great spot for both pool and bowling, making it a perfect place to hang out with friends or family. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the tables and lanes are well-maintained, ensuring a fun experience whether you’re there to shoot a few games of pool or knock down some pins. The staff is excellent—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help, which adds to the overall positive vibe of the place. My special thanks to Tracy (if my memory serves me, but I'm sure her name begins with T). On top of that, they serve good food, making it easy to enjoy a meal while playing or just relaxing. Overall, Madsen’s combines fun activities, great service, and tasty food, making it a spot definitely worth visiting.
