Matt’s Moving did an outstanding job with my move. Victor and Cheyuid were exceptional..professional, efficient, and genuinely careful with my belongings. They worked quickly without cutting corners, communicated clearly throughout the process, and handled everything with a great attitude. Moving is stressful, but they made it smooth and easy from start to finish. I would absolutely use Matt’s Moving again and highly recommend asking for Victor and Cheyuid.

Disappointing communication and time mismanagement We confirmed three movers multiple times, yet only two arrived, which immediately delayed the start and created unnecessary back and forth between the movers, the coordinator, and us the customers. Instead of beginning with clearly prepared and obvious items -boxed belongings, shelves, and a fully disassembled bed- the movers spent an excessive amount of time focused on what not to move, despite us giving clear and repeated direction. I had already told both the coordinator (Adam) and the movers that not everything was being moved (for example, the dining table), yet this continued to be an issue. Because nothing was happening, I sent photos to Sherri, manager on duty, to show that it was very clear what should be moved and to ask why the movers hadn’t started. She then instructed the movers to take photos of everything, which I’ve never experienced as standard procedure. This “photo documentation” further ate into paid moving time. The first 20 minutes was confusion with no clear explanation. Since this is a time based service that I’m paying for, I ultimately took my own video stating what was being moved and what was not purely to create a record. I should not have had to do this. What is unpacked (kitchen/dining area) is neither unusual nor the movers’ concern when clear direction is given. At one point, the lead mover said I seem to still be packing so they’ll come back another time when all packed. ..That was unexpected. I scheduled and paid to move that day and expected movers to move boxes — not say they’ll come back later. Then he called Sherri to say he would not take photos because it was “unprofessional,” and that if required, he would refuse the job. At that point, I was faced with potentially having no movers at all. To keep things moving, I continued preparing furniture and told them to handle the photo issue however they wanted but to please start moving, which they finally did. The third mover arrived 1 hour and 10 minutes late. I clearly stated that I wanted to leave by 9:45am to stay on schedule and manage paid time, yet we ended up leaving at 10:30am. The truck idled for a while and took a detour adding another 10 minutes, which I assume was to drop off the third mover’s car. Unloading was straightforward after I requested items be placed in just two main areas. We finished close to my original projection, but I was overcharged by roughly $400 due to incorrect hour billing, which required yet another call to correct. No discount or concession was offered despite the significant issues throughout the day. I still tipped 10% because they got it done and it’s the holidays but this experience was disappointing. Moving is already stressful. This was made far worse by poor internal communication, poor coordination with subcontractors, lack of listening, and disregard for the customer’s time. I’ve used multiple moving companies in the past and have never experienced anything like this. Please learn from this. Do better.

Had a great experience with these guys. Worth hiring. I can’t remember my specific movers names I think Matt, James, and David or Danny. But they did a great job. On time despite the crappy weather. They moved super fast despite the freezing temps and snow. I was also on the third floor with no elevator which makes it a lot harder for them. Still despite all that they moved my 1 bedroom apartment in 1 hour. Professional as well. Will remember them when I move out and recommend them to any of my friends and family too.

Wow. I am blown away. I had 3 movers (Chueyid, Shond, and Lindsey) and they were amazing start to finish. They moved me out of a 3rd-floor historic apartment (no elevator) on a 90° day and had the truck loaded in one hour flat. They kept such a great attitude the whole time even in the insane heat. I'm so grateful. Moved me out to the countryside 50 min away and the entire move was completed in 3.5 hours! My mom is a realtor and recommends Matt's to all of her clients because they take good care of you. I can't thank these guys enough!!

What a phenomenal company to work with - from start to finish. I was already tasked with having to coordinate my move from a different state and they made sure to go the extra mile. When I first contacted for the quote, I reviewed a few different companies and they were by far the most affordable. My parents were going to be in-person during the move and there was no issue on that end either. My movers, Darryl and Sam, my parents are your biggest fans. They have so many great things to say about these two. They were prompt (early!) and efficient. My parents called me like three times just to sing their praises. Thank you Matt’s Moving for helping this anxious girl with a seamless move!
