Always good food, good company, and a good time at Mellow Mushroom in Winston. The restaurant meets my expectations for a specialty pizzeria. I wish there was more parking, but that's part of the downtown experience. No one does pizza like Mellow 🍄.
Great vibe, attentive service, too many good options on the menu, and a variety of different seating options. So glad Mellow Mushroom is downtown.
Waited an hour on my pizza which was 30 min past time and i was fine with that if it was good but the bacon looks raw and I'm literally throwing all but a half a slice in trash and going to cookout Mellow mushroom use to be so great but this is honestly worse than a frozen pizza and I spent 28 bucks on it
went to Mellow Mushroom with a large work group, and we had a great time. The staff handled our big table smoothly, and the service was friendly and efficient throughout our visit. I ordered the oven-baked wings, which were flavorful and nicely cooked—crispy on the outside and tender inside. Overall, it was a fun and satisfying group dining experience with both good food and great service.
Sat at the bar...had a meat lover's style pizza...my friend had a vegan pizza. No complaints on the pizza. I also had a Moody Tounge Aperitif Pilsner. Not bad, just a bit of a Budweiser finish, instead of the skunkiness of a German Pilsner. My only suggestion, more German Style Pilsner options.
