First time haircut with the owner Marcy. Not only was she very personable and have great taste in music but she also treated all the other stylists so sweetly. I've had a few bad haircuts so she had to start from scratch. She listened to my request and made it look great with my multitextured thick hair. Definitely coming back!

I had a wonderful experience here doing my highlights. Stepping into the salon, I was greeted by the front desk staff, who were the epitome of attentiveness and thoroughness. From the quick, efficient check-in to confirming my service and offering a beverage, their warm welcome set the perfect, relaxing tone for my appointment. Then, I met my stylist. They were incredible—a professional who embodied both creativity and precision. The consultation wasn't rushed; they were thorough, asking detailed questions about my hair history, lifestyle, and my desired highlight result. They offered expert advice on tone and placement, making sure we were perfectly aligned on the vision for my hair. The actual highlighting process was equally impressive. My stylist worked meticulously, ensuring every section was perfect. Their attention to detail was evident in the careful foiling and processing time, checking on me regularly and explaining the steps. The final result was stunning, I love my highlights.

I had an appointment and showed up late, they still got me in. Angel was my hair stylist and was awesome! She died my hair black and it came out perfect! The staff was very nice and helpful, and the shop was clean and decorated. Definitely will be going back!

Marcy puts the SERVE in service. She gave me the confidence and flair I desperately needed. I have scarcely been myself since moving to Alaska but her love and joy shows in her work. God blessed her with a talent and she loves what she does. The salon is warm and welcoming and embodies her passion. She is vivacious and sweet. Hands down the best salon I have ever been to and I would give her 10 stars if it was an option. Thank you for sharing your love and time with me Marcy!! I am sooo THANKFUL for Marcy, owner and star stylist of Misfits Salon!! I never knew my hair could look like a million bucks. I have NEVER experienced such superior services, care and customer service. Firstly, she uses and stocks top quality products, has extensive knowledge of what each product does, and what matches your hair's needs. Secondly, she takes the time to understand my hair goals and has always exceeded my expectations/vision. Third, she is a HUGE advocate for continued education, keeping current with trending techniques through seminars, and provides her staff the same. Marcy is a gem and an absolute blessing to me and her customers. Her salon is beautiful, warm, and peaceful. I am a forever happy customer and highly recommend Misfits Salon. Thank you, Marcy!!
