MRO computers is genuinely a good place to go to when you managed to do something incredibly stupid to your electronics. This is the second time I've visited and they surprisingly only took a day to pull all my data and get my computer fixed up. I managed to corrupt my OS with a botched system restore. She's basically good as new and can finally load windows 11 again. They were able to save basically all my data (minus some really old screenshots) and now the only thing I dislike is that windows 11 makes me use the snip tool when i try to take a screenshot XD. The repair was a fair price for my stupidity in trying to fix my computer issues on my own.

Great people. I took my computer in after I did everything I knew to do after it would not startup. Nothing I did worked, replace CMOS battery, reseat cards and CPU. Nothing worked. Mike saw me come in with my heavy computer and kindly advised me to put it down on a counter. After a few minutes, while he finished with another customer, he picked up my machine and took it to his diagnostic table and quickly determined it could be my power supply and advised me, with my experience, I could use a "power supply checker" to check it myself, saving down time and money. I agreed and put my machine back in the truck for the ride home. Before I left I thought, I don't have or know what a Power Supply Unit (PSU) checker even looks like, so I went back in and asked Mike, could he show me what a PSU checker looked like and could he sell me one. He advised me he didn't sell them and asked if I could wait a minute, as he walked away headed toward his shop. And quickly returned with a large pin connector with a small wire connecting two ports in the connector. He handed it to me and advised me use it to test PSU. I asked if I could pay him for the devise and he refused. I wasn't sure if I'd figure out how to use it but it was pretty simple. I was able to determined the power supply did work all 5 fans but still no CPU fan. So I called again, and spoke to Mike who informed me I needed to test it "under a load", which up to now it would not do. So Mike suggested, if I had another PSU, I could switch them out to see if that worked, and the replacement PSU powered up everything in the computer case. It worked. The 13 year old PSU out and new internet purchased PSU in. Thank you Mike for your kindness, patients, experience and advise. From one old IT guy to another. Thank you very much.

My computer stopped connecting to the internet about a year ago. After several attempts to fix it myself using Google to research solutions, I gave up and set that computer aside. Today I decided to take it to MRO Computers and within 5 minutes, Mike figured it out and didn't even charge me. I will be back for a computer tune up and I will recommend them to everyone! It is great to know we have business owners in the community that treat you like a good neighbor! 😀

Mike and staff at MRO computers helped us troubleshoot a difficult situation with a new system we purchased. They were very thorough and after many different approaches, we were finally able to get a resolve. Thank you again to Mike and his team for getting us up and running on our new computer system.
