Friendly local computer shop. They have a selection of new and used computers available as well as components. Prices seem competitive with big box stores and they're willing to do special orders. They do service on PCs.

Used them several years ago to sell some computer hardware that I no longer needed, and figured I would used them again. Dropped off a few items over 2 weeks ago, and expected to hear back within a couple days. 10 days go by and did not hear a thing from anyone. Called in to check the status of the evaluation, and they had nothing on file under my name. I had to verbally review the parts I had dropped off, and was told I would hear back the next day. No word again. Called them back and I was told the evaluator would get to them that Monday and I would have a quote then. Monday comes and not a word from them. Called them back AGAIN, and was told the order got misplaced... Finally I am told a quote a week later and that the check would be ready for me on Monday (another has gone by at this point). I leave work early to make it to the store, and was then told the check was NOT ready and would be ready tomorrow... I will let you guess whether or not I have received a check from them...

I just got off the phone with John Campe and he explained in great detail what the issue could be with my PC and gave me advice on what I maybe need to know and do. If I have any other issues with my PC I will definitely bring it to this office. He made me feel comfortable when with me not being PC smart and I really appreciated it.

I went to few others computer repair shops around vb and Chesapeake to get my AMD 4 processor fixed due to bent pins.. they told me that its was too difficulty to fix or don't want to take a chance even though I told them that I would sign form for consent. I took my processor here and gentlemen came to me and said let me see it. I waited 4min he went back bent all the pins back and even tested the fit. I said how much they said don't worry I wanted pay more then a basic repair, but a retired ENCS said its okay. We exchanged conversation about our military experience. If you guys need a recommend repair 100% here worth the 20min drive. Great service keep it yall!!

Amazing place to have a computer repaired or built. I came with a bunch of parts for my gaming pc and a employee by the name of Han had the same passion for the hardware as I did as well as the other employees, and really took the initiative to help me overcome some hardware issues when constructing my dream PC giving me constant updates and recommendations to make it just work. I was shocked at how clean and aesthetically pleasing my computer was and looked! Later I realized that some of the fans I bought didn't have dual lighting (lighting on both sides of the fan) and when I opened the pc to replace the fans I was amazed at how easy and well organized the cable management was and made my changes easy and fun! Providence Computers is my #1 choice and recommendation for a local computer shop for Chesapeake and the surrounding areas! Definitely will come here for the foreseeable future.
