Even before the first session started Govind set up steps to meet our reactive dog that made sense for our home and yard. Making their interaction smooth from the start. Through all the sessions he did a great job explaining what he was doing and why, while still paying attention to our dogs responses. He kept an amazing balance of making sure our dog was taking the steps they needed, while explaining why certain situations would need to be worked up to. There wasn't a single session that felt like we were rushed in time. In fact, he made sure we could ask any questions we had about our dog. We've gained a lot of tools to continue to help our dog and would gladly work with them again if needed or for any future dogs we may have. If you are struggling Govind is the solution trust us!
Govind is exceptional and absolutely worth every penny. I have had the pleasure of having both Barb and Govind work with our family. I believe both of them are among the top positive reinforcement trainers in the country. Over 3 sessions Barb laid some excellent foundational work for us and really opened my eyes to a very dog centric style of dog training that I really enjoy. Barb was patient and kind and made sure that everyone was comfortable with the techniques she was demonstrating before moving on. Govind came to work on leash reactivity with my dog. He laid out a clear training and management plan with some goals that was easy to follow. The plan created less stress for both me and my dog Toby. I have seen large improvements in Toby’s ability to self regulate and remaining calm while passing triggers at an appropriate distance.
