In the spirit of a transformative new year I was told to attend the Wednesday session. What a nightmare! This so called “instructor” spoke through the entire session, any relaxation attempts I tried were fruitless. About an hour in she stopped for a break, then went back bratteling on about her vacation and a vain stab at stand up comedy!? I was dump struck by the amateurish nature of this entire situation, …some meditation center, never again!
CLOSED AT THIS LOCATION AS OF AUGUST 2022. No longer exists at this location, and no way to contact the business outside of voicemail and email. Incredibly inconvenient experience overall.
Actually very nice meditation center. They do teach courses from time to time, in addition to regular meditation and you can apply for scholarship to attend one, if you need it. You don't have to stay for lecture after meditation if you have plans- you can just quietly leave. People are very nice. I recommend it. Plan to meditate for 45 minutes. If you are late, just quietly sit down and join everyone.
Great meditations and lectures. We visited on few Friday evenings and we really enjoyed it.
An amazing experience. I am new to NY and had been out spiritual shopping past few weeks to find a place to continue my meditation practices. I can gladly say I found this place. I had a wonderful experience last Sat attending the day of silence with Rosemary and Sandra who were fabulous. I loved their simplicity and depth in teaching. The place is very warm and friendly. People are very welcoming and their management is more service oriented than profit making oriented. I look forward to visit this place more frequently.
