I attended the weekly meditation classes for a few months. It was a great experience and the monks are so kind and welcoming. If you’re considering learning more about Buddhism and meditation this is a great place to visit!
This the only Sri Lankan Temple in the Oklahoma State. 🇱🇰 The resident monks are very kind, approachable, and always willing to guide visitors in Buddhist teachings and mindfulness practices. Beyond being a place of worship, the Vihar also plays a big role in community service and cultural events, which makes it even more special. 🙏
Best place to Meditate and get your life back from all the stress life throws at you . The monks are very friendly and help me answer all my questions . Meditation has helped me calm and be mindful.
I would like to give them 500 stars. It is an extremely welcoming environment. 30 minute daily mediation at 6 o’clock to 7, with insightful monks that are open to discussion. Was in Oklahoma for training and walked in. Highly highly recommend. Will be joining virtually.
A great place to meditate, even if you have never meditated before. I suggest going on Sunday 5-6pm if you're new, because the first 1/2 hour is meditation and the second 1/2 hour is Question and Answer.
