I just came back from Egypt, was in a group travel arranged by Pauwels. To be honest, this is the worst travel experience I ever had in my life. 1, we paid a luxury price but was not provided the best service. 14 days including air ticket we paid Cdn10k, we were told that will be 5 star hotel and food all the way along but some of the place we stay was not good, and the cruise on lake Nasser was low level. 2, we expect to visit some "must see" places but after we found out that they did not include the GEM Museum in Cairo, we had to squeeze out half day to visit, which is not enough time to check out this very important place 3, we fly from Cairo then bus to our hotel, flight delayed and it was getting close to late night, we were not given any heads up or warning then had to take motor-tricycle to hotel, it was in the dark on a rough road, very windy and unsafe, by the time we got to hotel, I was sick and nausea and cold. later on I ask the guide why he didn't warn us or give us a few minutes to pull out some cloth to keep us warm in that environment, the Guide (his name is Ihab) said he think if it was only a few of us got sick after that ride, then it was us, we are too weak ( I was angry to hear this answer) 4, the day we visit Alexandria, the Guide took us to various places then lunch was almost 4:00pm, we were starving as the breakfast was early morning like 6:30am. then after this late lunch we had to feed ourself again for dinner 5, at Luxor, we were told to visit local museum but when we got there, the museum actually closed, so nobody check the museum hours before we start this trip? then we had to wait in hotel for the very late flight back to Cairo, and by the time we arrive Cairo, it's almost midnight, we either have to skip dinner to get some sleep or you eat then not enough time to sleep 6, most of local restaurants we went to were low quality food, quite a few of us have stomach issue with the food. Overall, this was the most miserable trip I ever went, I don't think Pauwel provided proper service for the price we paid. I strongly recommend everyone to check and think carefully before you book with this company

We booked a three week tour of Italy with Sandra Pauwels and we couldn’t be happier with the level of service we received. Sandra helped guide us in historical sites to visit and local experiences to try. The guides provided were exceptional and all transfers were amazing which made our trip seamless. We look forward to our next adventure with Sandra and Pauwels travel!

Just came back from a trip to Cuba booked by Pauwels. They managed to get our room upgraded at no extra cost to us!
