Wow! Our first visit and we were blown away. The service was fantastic! Pickles, our server, was beyond on top of his game and was able to provide suggestions and answer questions about the menu as if he knew us. The portions were perfect and appetizers, we split calamari and garlic bread, didn't spoil our supper. The house made pasta was nurturing and delicious. We all ordered different pasta entrees and each one was unique and distinct. You can't go wrong and we will be back. The limited seating means you should make a reservation for sure. We saw a few people turned away. We weren't rushed out but needed to give up our space for the next guests so don't plan on lounging around after your meal. You'll need to share this fantastic space!
I went here with my girlfriend and the food was sooooo good. Our server Zach was very friendly and helpful and the kitchen made the food in a timely manner. Would absolutely recommend for anyone looking for good Italian food in Portland. Also their tiramisu was amazing. 5 stars for sure
I traveled to Portland (all the way from Florida) for the first time on a solo trip and chose to eat at Piattino on both of the nights that I ventured out for a dinner. The server I had was so sweet and kind (I wish I could remember their name, they’re from Idaho) and the food was amazing. The first night, I had some wine, bolognese, and tiramisu. On the second night, I opted for a sidecar cocktail (or two) and the carbonara. I even got a fun little snack of pearled onions and cornichons! The restaurant is in a walkable part of town, and if I was traveling with friends I might have even popped in for a few more drinks at the bar next door. Piattino and its staff have my heart (and tastebuds) forever!
The food was absolutely amazing... hands down some of the best Italian food ive had in a while. The hand made fettuccine was perfect. The drinks were delicious. Everything came out in a very reasonable time, and Zach was a wonderful server. 10 out 10
Had a really lovely experience at Piattino. It’s a cozy little spot and the food was delicious. We tried the house special pizza and pesto pasta; both were flavorful. The fresh breads served with the pasta were a highlight too. We had reserved a table in advance for an anniversary dinner. While our server was courteous, it would have been nice if the staff had acknowledged the occasion. There was also a small mix-up when we were served a chicken pasta by mistake. To their credit, the server quickly corrected it and brought out a fresh dish, but as a new vegetarian it wasn’t the most pleasant moment. Overall, we enjoyed our evening and would happily come back, though a few thoughtful touches could make the experience even better.

Authentic Italian flavors in the heart of Portland, where handmade pasta and cozy vibes meet.
