I’ve been a loyal member since the day this location opened, and I’ve never seen conditions this bad. Right now the gym has no heat, and it feels like a warehouse instead of a fitness center. It’s freezing inside. Members are complaining, and tonight the gym was almost empty because people don’t want to work out in winter conditions. Even the employees are forced to work in coats and hats, which shows how uncomfortable and unsafe the environment is. Members are also lifting in sweaters and winter hats — that’s not what we pay for. We’re paying for a proper, safe, comfortable facility. If we wanted to work out in the cold, we’d train outside. The staff deserves better working conditions, and the members deserve what they’re paying for. This needs to be fixed immediately before people cancel their memberships. Planet Fitness should take care of both its workers and its loyal members.
