We had the roof done in the winter so had to wait a while for the weather to cooperate but had communication with Portland Roofers every week. Once the job started the workers took care not to leave me unprotected from the weather. The work is first class and I still have not found any debris in the yard. A very enjoyable experience and one of my lower bidders, I could not be happier. Jack
Portland Roofing did a great job on my roof about 7-8 years ago so when I needed a new roof over my deck I called them. They were about half of the cost that a friend gave me but I trusted their work. My new roof is beautiful and strong with no leaking. I waited until after the strong winds and rain to review and I'm so happy!!
Couldn't be more happy with how everything went -- and we were very anxious about it, after experiencing other companies. The first people we deal with when meeting Portland Roofing were the owners. They were informative, not at all pushy, and super efficient. It was great to discuss the work without it feeling like a car dealership. Pricing was very competitive and maintained the same materials, etc, as other bids. The rest of the crew -- from the office staff to the folks on the roof itself -- were always polite and going above and beyond to make sure we were informed and involved in any decisions. When there were decisions, they responded super quickly and kept the project on track. The on-site crew was always very mindful of the property itself as well as pets, including making sure gates were closed and secured at the end of the day. They took great care of our plants and yard ornaments too. The results are fantastic; we have a roof again! And it's not moldy or water--damaged any more! The cleanup exceeded our expectations too.
I hired Portland Roofing Company to install gutters on my home. While I am not an expert in gutter installation and initially paid their invoice in good faith, a subsequent inspection by another roofing company revealed multiple issues with how the gutters were installed. When I contacted Portland Roofing Company to review the work, they declined to come out and took no responsibility for the substandard installation. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company. I only recommend businesses that stand behind the quality of their work and are willing to address and correct mistakes.
My new roof & gutters were just installed & I couldn't be happier. The entire process, from the initial visit until the installation was complete was very pleasant & very professional. The crew arrived on time & cleaned up daily before they left. The owners, office staff & the crew are very knowledgeable & answer any & all questions. Portland Roofing came highly recommended to me by my friend and I am happy to recommend this company to anyone reading this.
