The Reverchons, father and son, were botanists. Max Reverchon was employed by the Fourierists in the 1850's to bring fruit trees and grapevines to Dallas from France. They planned to set up a utopia but their leaders were run out of Texas due to their revolutionary and abolitionist views. The Reverchons stayed and collected plants from all over Texas. The park land was originally theirs.

Gorgeous area with impressive stone structure. The garden is wonderful and is a great place for a meditative session. Somewhat secluded, so it gives a good vibe to sit or walk as you gather thoughts. One of the frequent stops I make throughout my runs. Get out there and soak up the sun! 👍

The cutest park I have been to! Very family friendly, perfect for picnics or just to chill around. Has a nice trail that goes around the park. Very clean! Has lots of benches and a little playground area for the kids as well as a pond/ waterfall. Has a bench that has a beautiful view of the sky line perfect for taking pictures or to just simply admire the view.
