Something wants me to be with you all. Paramanhansa Yogananda danced joyfully across the sky my first night after I began his autobiography. A project we were not destined to finish had me within a block of your fellowship centre over a dozen times before I realized I was so close, but not until it was too late. Sri Yukteswar brought me guidance through lovingly harsh observation of my words and thoughts when I was not being adequately concious, considerate and careing for others or myself. And now it has led me to Monroe where both my inward and outward exploration blossoms.

This is a lovely place to meditate and is open to people of all different religions. It follows the path of Kriya Yoga set down by Parmahansa Yogananda in 1920. All are welcome. If you do not have any particular way of meditating there are lessons and you can check this out. You are encouraged to contact God in the language of your heart. It has a regular Sunday service from 10.30 to 11.30 AM and other evenings when meditation is held. Each Saturday there is a 3 hour meditation from 6 to 9 PM. Discover your true self and nature and be at peace meditating with a group of like minded secular people. It is free for all who understand the true meaning of yoga meditation. I love this temple of peace.
