We have worked with Joseph at SELFi for two refinances as well as a new home purchase. The rates always beat the competitors so the refinances were a no brainer. Then through the crazy process of buying a house, I never worried for a moment that there would be any problem on my loan side and I was right. Joseph and his team made everything seem easy. He responds at lightning speed at all hours to any requests, is extremely detail-oriented in follow up and follow through. We have also recommended him to family and friends.
With mortgage rates dropping so low in the past couple of years, I have used SELFi twice now to refinance. Both experiences were painless, transparent, and surprisingly quick. Joseph and Kevin are passionate and will go to bat for you in the process. They also provide really impressive rates, and when comparing with others, i found SELFi often had better lender credits at no additional cost compared to the same interest rates at other companies. Of course, these other companies will tell you that they'll match better offers, but I'd prefer to skip that nonsense and work with someone who gives me a great price without making me negotiate.

This is definitely one of my most pleasant refinance experience (I've done a few others before). The online portal for document submission was very convenient and everything went by very fast. I got the absolutely best rate on the market. SELFi is the best.
Joseph was a pleasure to work with on my refinance and got me the best rate after I checked several other lenders such as better.com. He made the process clear and straightforward and was always quick to respond to a couple of questions I had by email. Almost entire process was done remotely except for 10 minutes to sign required documents with notary safely with masks on my front porch. Almost all documents were able to be e-signed. Joseph also covered the cost of extending the rate lock for an additional week after there were some unavoidable delays due to my work HR department and homeowners association being out over the holidays. Joseph helped save me a lot of money and I highly recommend!
Was really happy with my experience with Joseph @ SELFI..First off he was sending correspondence with me up until 11pm so I could lock the rate that I wanted within the 12am deadline. My loan was a little more complicated since I had a 2nd home but Joseph explained exactly what was needed, worked with the underwriters and kept the communication going to I was able to close on my loan (with a great rate:). I am a happy client and would recommend SELFI to anyone for their financing needs.
