Don Orason and his team are the very best! I recently had to clean out and prepare my mother’s condominium in The Villages for sale, as she had moved into assisted living. I initially left a phone message of inquiry for Don: I had read reviews of several realtors who dealt with The Villages, and he seemed the most informed and was consistently highly rated. Within a couple of hours, he returned my call. This promptness in communication carried through the ensuing months I worked with him. I live in Southern California so all my contact with Don was through phone, text and email (once via Zoom when he personally met with my mother and brother who live in the area). Don always responded to my queries, in whatever form, within a very few hours. The condo sale was complicated by the number of things that needed to be done in preparation. When movers came to clear out the house and garage, Don was there to oversee the process. From large to small details – whether the removal of an exterior pergola or interior lights that weren’t working properly – he advised me on workers he had dealt with before and was on site when they were at the property. There were a number of occasions when we communicated several times during a particular process, as Don always kept me informed and in the loop, frequently sending photos or short videos of the work in progress. He was always on top of things and kept me apprised of what was happening. During the months I worked with Don, an unprecedented number of properties in The Villages were up for sale. HOA fees, which were already high, were again increased. These factors made for a difficult seller’s market. Don kept up a steady stream of viewers to the property, and we were in regular conversation about listing strategies. He provided invaluable advice but never pushed me to do anything I was uncomfortable with. Up to the last details of the sale, Don was with me every step of the way. In addition to his professional expertise, Don is personable, friendly and considerate. Most important, he is rigorously ethical. He was always upfront with me and worked to secure the best deal for my mother but never advised me in a way that would have a negative effect on the buyer. His goal was to do his best for me but not at the expense of someone looking to purchase a new home. Finally, as a woman, I appreciated never feeling that Don was condescending or patronizing in his dealings with me. He was always professional and respectful. I never felt I was being a bother or asking stupid questions. Throughout the entire process, Don regularly and often went above and beyond. His team were also consummately professional. I entered into our professional relationship under difficult circumstances and wholly unfamiliar with the process of preparing and selling a property. Don advised and gave me relevant information so that I could make informed decisions. I and my family are incredibly grateful. I generally do not write online reviews, but I am making an exception here because Don was so exceptional. I recommend Don Orason and his team enthusiastically and without reservation.

Don Orason and his team from Silicone Valley Real Estate did a fabulous job of selling my home, I was in the process of fixing it up to increase the value, not only did Don give me recommendations he also set me up with a Painter and Contractor, who were very competitively priced and did great work. He the put together the photo shoot and marketing to sale the property. It was on the market less then a month and sold for the asking price it was listed for. Bill and Don made it work! We live far from San Jose, and have to fly there from our home we are selling. Bill put in a lot of time and worked from a distance for us. He was aware of what we wanted, so he checked daily to see what might work for us. He would do walk throughs with facetime and texts and emails. We flew there a couple of times when we saw something we were interested in, and Bill found a place that had the exact floorplan and location we wanted. He messaged us, saying he thought it would be 'the' one. We flew there, and with Bill's help, made an offer. Don also assisted in setting up the closing when Bill was traveling. We were able to close quickly and buy our new home. They make a good team!
