SSP was down for a period of time last month. I was not made aware that my daughter's pediatrician had left, the office was closed, website down, and possible errors made in billing. I was able to contact the new owner, who went above and beyond to personally correct the situation for me. I have moved my daughter over to a different doctor's office. I appreciate that the new owner is looking forward to building up the practice again and restoring it to its previous reputation of being a good pediatrician serving the Bellevue area.

I recently went in with my son for his annual and physical for sports. She was beyond great! I could tell she is very passionate about her career and that is rare to find these days. The staff included :) If you want the real loving truth about your kids physical and mental health she is my number one suggestion. My son left saying he felt better and was not as nervous during the physical as he thought he would be. He said it was like talking to a school nurse :) Thank you very much Doctor 💓 (sorry I didn't want to mess your name up).

I have another pediatrician that I have to pay cash, because she doesn’t accept insurance. Her office is not kid friendly, my son throws all her books off her shelf on the floor. She loves having him there and she is so kind and patient. It is the exact opposite at stepping stone peds. I was very excited to go here because of a Facebook reference. The front desk staff is not friendly, the doctor complained about my 10 month old whining and asked me to feed him to keep him quiet. Also, her office is not kid friendly and she seemed annoyed my son was playing with her window blinds. He was whining, because he doesn’t want to be held for long periods, he likes to explore. I also think it is weird when people wear masks, if she is sick, she should stay home. Sitting in her bodily fluids all day is not healthy and unless she has a problem spitting on people, I don’t see the point. Germs are spread by touching things and she wasn’t too worried about that.

I’ve taken my daughter to 2 pediatric practices since she was born 18 months ago—one in IL and Stepping Stones. We’ve seen 6 practitioners total (3 in IL and 3 at SS) and by far, our best experiences have been at SS and with Kathryn (Katie). We just had our 18-month check-up and my daughter did so well thanks to Katie’s very special demeanor with kids. She has listened to all of my concerns and has never made our appointment feel rushed. If she’s not able to address our concerns completely, she has referred us to other doctors who specialize in those areas. Katie is caring, thorough and practical. We are very grateful for the care we’ve gotten at SS in the past year (so this review is based on several visits).

Stepping Stone Pediatrics is a fantastic practice. We have seen Mark so far for the annual wellness checkups and he is just wonderful with kids. Booking the appointments online was so easy and a real time saver. Mark really cares for his patients and made the kids feel comfortable and understood. Mark is a great resource and support for parents. We love how bright and kid friendly the practice is. Stepping Stone has fantastic pandemic protocol to keep everyone safe.
