I got my first mattress here and this is why I came back because of the great customer service. Walked in & was able to walk out within 30 mins and found what we needed! We’ve shopped at surplus multiple times now and always had a great experience! Today we walked in looking for a new mattress and were greeted by Harsh and Abi. They were so friendly and helped us find the right mattress for our needs. Even better they had the mattress we wanted in stock and helped load it into our truck same day. We always appreciate the friendly customer service and will be back again!

First time shopping at Surplus Furniture. I visited the store on Nairn Avenue. Richard H. Is the gentleman that helped me. I was looking for a recliner chair. I needed the chair in a short period and one was supposed to be delivered to Winnipeg a few days later. The truck delivering was delayed and I would not receive my Recliner in the timeframe I was wanting. I called the store and spoke with Richard. He went out of his way to walk me through other options. I decided on one that was in stock and he gave me a further discount on it. I picked up the recliner at the warehouse. They were very friendly and helpful there as well. I would highly recommend Surplus Furniture. Their prices are comparable, if not better than the major furniture stores. They have many of the same items sold at the major furniture store but with better prices. Huge shout out to Richard, who was very friendly and accommodating and understood my circumstances and I feel completely went out of his way to try to make something work for me.

I'm an impulsive buyer and like to buy things same day, so this store was perfect for me. I believe Alvin was my salesperson and Richard helped him out at times. Both friendly and helpful. We picked out a matching reclining loveseat and sofa and are happy with our purchase. They are comfy and I think they should last. We chose to have them delivered same day, and the delivery service is the main reason I'm not giving 5 stars. Price was right. Same day delivery was great. But we were promised delivery between 2pm and 6pm and they didn't show up until nearly 10pm while my kids were asleep. So for waking my kids up you lose a star. But I'll certainly keep this store in mind next time I need new furniture.

We needed a bed and mattress and after checking out multiple companies online, the price and quality of the furniture at this shop appealed to us. We went to the shop and Bharat and Jhazz welcomed us. We were able to test the mattress before we decided on what to buy and arrange delivery in store for the same day. Bharat and Jhazz were professional, helpful and knowlegable. They helped to make our shopping experience pleasant and memorable. I'd highly recommend this company and want to shout out Bharat and Jhazz for their wonderful customer service. Thank you!
