Joining Tersak’s has been one of the best decisions our family has made! My kids have benefitted physically as well as mentally and emotionally, and they look up to the instructors as role models. When I started taking classes too, I was anxious about having no idea what I was doing, but that didn’t last long. The instructors and other students are so supportive and helpful, and it is truly an inclusive space and doable for every age, type of body and fitness level. I haven’t been excited about exercise in more than a decade, but I genuinely look forward to the days when I’m taking class! Doing this as a family has been so much fun and helps us keep each other accountable. Plus, it feels good to kick your kid sometimes 😉 (safely, of course!) We will be martial artists for life thanks to Tersak’s and the amazing environment they’ve created!

Best martial school in Jacksonville!!!! Their approach is so special , especially with little kids ! It’s unbelievable!!!! Honestly the one thing I love the most is that they are welcoming not only to the students , but to their whole families

We’ve been going to Tersak’s Family Martial Arts Academy for about a year now, and I can’t recommend it enough! My 4- and 2-year-old sons absolutely love it. The instructors are amazing with kids — patient, fun, and always encouraging. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, which makes every visit a great experience. What I appreciate most is that even my 1-year-old has space to play safely while his brothers are in class, which is a huge help as a parent! It truly feels like a family environment where kids not only learn martial arts but also build confidence, discipline, and friendships. Highly recommend to any family looking for a positive and supportive place for their children!

Our entire experience at Tersak’s has been absolutely incredible. From the private mini lesson on our very first day to get my boys nerves settled to the dedicated instructor’s everything has been amazing. All of the instructor take their time with each child and ensure they fully understand what they’re about to do. They even have other student instructors helping each class. Their attention to detail is impeccable. If you or your children are looking for a great family friendly program and atmosphere seriously look no further than Tersak’s.

They Rock there! Master Nick & Chris as well as the rest of the team clearly have a "cult following" and we love the people there. They are in "growth mode" because they clearly take care of all the students and provide immense value through a number of different perspectives. The recent renovations that doubled thier space was really awesome and provides room enough for everyone on just about the busiest nights I have ever seen. They even have a new location as well which I cant speak since we have not been there but I am sure its just as awesome. TFMAA has great seasonal events as well that I feel really builds "Community" such as holidays, Parent nights, etc and provides additional value from other martial arts locations. Be careful if you go there, it can be addictive especially for the kids:)
