This has gotta be the worst texas roadhouse in the area. I’ll admit we had a decently large party tonight and the front told us it’d be a 30-45min wait. Thats cool we all understood. Almost an hour goes by and when one of the people in my party went up to ask if there was an ETA for a table they said “well we called the name”. No one called the name bc we were sitting in there waiting, instead they sent a text. So they lied about calling the name and just didn’t bother which made no sense to us bc why would you JUST send a text instead of calling the name out to one of three large parties in the waiting area? Tried to look past that, looking forward to the food so we got our order in. Got what was either a piece of plastic or receipt paper in my salad that I ended up almost eating. Asked our server if the manager could come over so I could show them. Didn’t catch her name, but whoever the manager was tonight (1/30/26) came over and asked if I could put it on a plate so she could take it back to the kitchen and figure out what it was. She then disappeared and never came back to the table. I had to ask our server if she was coming back and our server told me that she took $15 off our bill. Thats cool, but she didn’t even have the decency to come back to the table and say anything? Just disappeared and I didn’t see her again until I was walking out? Then we finally got the rest of our food. All of the steaks were either overdone or not done enough. Kitchen even sent an extra steak “just in case”? So they knew they weren’t sending out steaks right but sent them anyways? Then my son got his food last bc they didn’t send it out even though his was supposed to come out earlier. The only positive thing we experienced was our server and I wish I remembered to grab her name, she was fantastic. All the servers were the last time we went too, everything else is just terrible. If anyone is ever thinking of going I wouldn’t recommend going during the normal dinner rush, seems like most of the staff and one of the managers isn’t equipped to deal with the peak times of texas roadhouse bc we’ve never had this many issues at other locations
I am an avid Texas Roadhouse lover, my favorite restaurant in the world. However, today, after an incredibly long day at work I really wanted steak and got the 14oz ribeye with a Caesar and mashed potatoes. The sides were great, however, the steak (which I requested medium rare) looked like it was left inside of an active volcano it was so overcooked. I’m just a bit annoyed, I was very tired and hungry and the steak (which cost almost $30) was just not good. Photo for reference.
The customer service was okay the young man wasn't rude but never refilled our drinks never came to pick up our appetizer plates that were empty even when bringing our main course out ..so that made it a little tight the table for two is small so him not picking up the empty plates made it smaller ..also we never got napkins ..I have had steak here before it was delicious..this go around the meat did not taste the same my steak had a lot of fat and wasn't the medium rare I asked for ..The onion blossom!!! was really all they had to offer....it was my daughter first time going she had heard about the rolls and that's all she wanted and she said they were not as good as people made them out to be ..I wouldn't go again unless someone was having a birthday or some type of celebration that they wanted me to be apart of
The service was great. We started with the Combo Appetizer with mild Buffalo Wings, Fried Pickles and Tater Skins. The Fried Pickles were a bit soggy with a decent flavor. The wings and skins were great. My son had the Country Fried Chicken with fries and corn. The chicken was tender and delicious. I had the Country Fried Sirloin with mashed taters and snaps (green beans). The sirloin was flavorful but a bit gristly and the coating fell right off. The taters were tasty but the green beans were Fabulous! I'm a southern girl and they were some of the best snaps (green beans) I've ever had.
We came here for my rehearsal dinner last night and the staff was AMAZING. They accommodated 50 people in attendance. I can’t give the staff enough praise the only ones I remember the names was Hanna and destinie but all the servers were amazing last night. Destinie even brought out her digital camera and took photos. Thank you Texas Roadhouse for making the night magical for us. Thank you so much Bride and groom Spencer
