The breathing room is the best! Started my Pilates practice here and been coming for almost two years! Try it, you won’t regret it! This studio is beautiful, amazing people, and the best classes.
This review is long overdue so here I am to give it. The Breathing Room is such a unique space. I’ve been doing yoga since 2011 and have gone to several yoga studios and nothing compares to their instruction when it comes down to somatic movement. In my current years of recovering from complex PTSD, this space has given me the space I need to truly reset my nervous system. I used to weekend road trip to Austin to find these specific flows, and I’m so delighted that I don’t have to do that anymore. I’ve found a true yoga home. If you haven’t attended Jennifer’s 7:30pm yoga class on Wednesday nights?! I highly recommend to do it for yourself, as a treat. I also enjoy their meditation and breath classes, mat pilates, and barre. Worth every penny! I’m just grateful this place exists in Houston.
I attended The Breathing Room for the first time this weekend for a Heart Intention Journaling Workshop with Venus Vassar and I loved it so much I signed up for an Intro to Yoga month and a Belly Dance series workshop. I attended my first yoga class with Brittany Hill that very next morning and it was exactly what I needed 8 weeks postpartum. I’m very excited to try out more classes and meet more staff. They have been wonderful in every interaction. From Tiffany Rae and Lauren at the front desk in greeting me enthusiastically and helping me around the studio to Alicia, the owner, treating me with kindness and answering all my questions. Very thoughtful touches throughout the 2-story building. Great location and aesthetically gorgeous inside. I’m excited for my second yoga class tonight with Jennifer.
First time experiencing this location and I might say it’s like NO OTHER! Your energy changes for the better once you walk in. So beautiful and might I add relaxing. I attended the beginners class for yoga with Tiffany Stewart and I really enjoyed myself. She made it very beginner friendly but still felt apart. I would definitely recommend The Breathing Room for any class to get you back aligned and at peace.
