We came in with what we knew was a dire and very complex case. All doctors went above and beyond to give Gus the best care, listening to our desire to try to help him but not at the expense of quality of life. They even helped wrangle our specialist to give us a solid plan when going home. He probably doesn’t have much time left, but Village Vets certainly helped us extend the good days.

i had recently gone to the emergency village vets with my sister because my dog had suddenly started bleeding from her butt. we had no clue why, but when we got to the vet, no one seemed in a rush to help our dog. she was still bleeding on the floor and one of the doctors came out to check our dog. she started to be impatient with us, asking how did this happen, when. we tried to give as much information as we could that we knew, but she looked at us like we were dumb, like we were supposed to know exactly what happened to her. she was barely looking at our dog not even looking at her butt, not even touching her to check for anything, which is what she should have been doing. we finally got a room for her to be checked. this other girl came in to ask us some more questions from other vet visits, she was a little nicer. but we tried our best to stay calm, but i feel like in these situations, you should try and be nice to the costumers as well, or at least to the animal to make the feel comfortable, and to ease them and let them know everything will be ok with your pet. no one had done anything to make us feel that our pet was safe with them. i never want to go back to them again. i want to make sure the vet really shows that they care for our pets, not just to work with them.

I came in sobbing late on Christmas Eve with my kitty who had a nasty abscess. He is not great with strangers, but they were very compassionate, friendly, and made me feel much more at ease. Within two and a half hours, Charlie was treated, medicated, and I was on the way home with him. He’s healing well and I am very grateful for the care I received and the late night staff. Thank you again from Charlie and I!

I had never been to an emergency vet before and as fur baby parents it’s the dreaded place to come! My big Smokey dad was so back up and sick I thought he was leaving us🥹 the minute I walked into this clinic was pure ease in my worse OF EASE!! Everyone was so lovely, they just loved Smockey so much like I did. It was terrible leaving him, never had but when I tell you I knew everyone was hands on Smokey's survival - 100% was! These people are angels! The only problem is their emergency only and I’m not trying to have that scare again! If you must, go tho - they are AMAZING PEOPLE TRULY☺️

The team at Village Vets took care of our dog twice last week. At first it appeared to be a simple case of eating something she shouldn't have, but they gave very careful instructions of what to look out for and when to come back in. When our dog did not improve, we took her back as directed and they diagnosed a gallbladder mucocele quickly and accurately, took care of her overnight, and got us into surgery with a specialist the next day, saving her life. Thank you so much!!
