Very disappointing experience. We ordered our steaks medium rare. When they arrived, they were badly burnt on the outside and clearly cooked closer to medium-well. We chose not to complain at the time as we just wanted to enjoy our night out. The bigger issue came when paying. We had a £120 voucher, which we were told we could not use because it hadn’t been “pre-certified” in advance. This is not something I’ve ever encountered in a restaurant before — normally a voucher is simply checked for validity at the point of payment. While this requirement was apparently mentioned in the confirmation email of the booking, the email was presented as grey text on a marginly darker grey background and essentially unreadable. It was also not mentioned anywhere on the voucher itself. To make matters worse, When we queried this and also mentioned the steak issues, the managers attitude became rude and dismissive (including suggesting my wife and I were illiterate), and when we said we probably wouldn’t return he said “good” with a rude hand gesture. Poor food, unclear and unreasonable voucher policies, and unprofessional management. We won’t be back. On the plus side, Mati our server was lovely.

We visited for 1st time. Staff were very attentive and showed us the different steak cuts. We both went for Fillet and were able to choose size of steak. It did not dissapoint. One of the best steaks i have had in a long time. I would highly recommend!

First visit to Tiffneys. Celebrating two birthdays. The food and wine were excellent and staff very attentive. It's so easy to get to from the city centre. Just a short trip on the subway. We'll definitely go back.

Superb 112 day aged ribeye with delightful sauces. French fried onion rings were amazing. Lovely Portuguese red wine. Staff were excellent. Cumbrae oysters - to die for!! 🥰

This has to be the go to steak place in Glasgow. If you’ve not been, you need to get a date in the diary. Great steak selection, staff only too happy to help you with the cut and amount/ size you are after. Wonder accompanying dishes too. The starters are varied and match the wider menu. Our dishes were all super tasty, plentiful, large in some cases, but that didn’t cause any issues. All round great meal, great staff and comfortable environment.
