Our Martial Arts Home Away From Home Our whole-family trains here and this academy has become our second family. From day one, we’ve felt seen, welcome, and supported by every instructor and staff member. This place isn’t just about kicks and punches—it’s about belonging. The instructors make everyone feel like part of the team and genuinely care—just like that lovely martial arts center where every student is treated like family and discipline goes hand-in-hand with delight. Every instructor here is knowledgeable and ready to help, whether you're mastering a new form or helping with testing prep. It echoes countless reviews praising staff who go above and beyond in creating a welcoming, enriching environment. Our kids have gained confidence, respect, and focus. We walk away not only better martial artists but stronger, more grounded individuals. We joined for the training—but stayed for the character-building, camaraderie, and care. If you’re looking for a martial arts academy where whole families train side by side, grow together, and feel genuinely supported—look no further. This place delivers expertise and heart. Highly recommended.

Tiger Rock has been a great experience for my family. My three kids are in the cubs and juniors programs and I am in the adult kickboxing program. Tiger Rock has instructors that are fun and engaging and our kids love being there. I would highly recommend Tiger Rock High Point!

I have had my children (6 & 9 year old) at Tiger Rock for almost 10 months. Not only is this a great outlet for extra energy, but this academy has given them so much more than I ever imagined. The instructors genuinely care about their success not only in martial arts, but in their daily life! They have developed social skills, discipline, problem solving skills, and confidence. The academy is there to support your child and the parent! It’s an amazing community to be a part of. I am so happy that we found this academy. My children absolutely love coming to class. There is not a better place or atmosphere for your children to learn martial arts!!! GO TIGER ROCK!!

BJJ at Tiger Rock Martial Arts led by Prof. Steve Snyder is an amazing place to be; spacious gym and a very friendly environment. All instructors have deep knowledge of the art and pay great attention to details. Students can develop skill sets in Gi, No Gi or both and attend as many classes as they wish. Classes are well structured and begin with light warmup followed by drilling and learning new techniques. A class concludes with 3-5 rounds of rolling against peer or higher rank athletes. Highly recommend!

I have been bringing my son for the past couple months here for his martial art lessons. The instructors are very nice. Staff is friendly. There was only one time i was disappointed and thats when we were late couple minutes for class and the lady at the desk said he can’t go inside because he is 10 minutes late.
