I cant even begin to say how grateful i am to everyone at VEG on Kent. I brought my 12 week old kitten in early in the morning yesterday and she was nearly not going to make it. They took such good care of her, paid close attention, gave her so much love and didn’t give up on her. Everyone was so kind and caring, and they let me hang out for a total of like 16 hours - so i could be by her side as much as possible. almost 2 days later, and she’s back home ❤️ cannot recommend this place enough. truly truly truly truly 🐱❤️

These people are the best! They’ve taken excellent care of my pup a couple of times for illnesses, including an overnight stay. Brought my dog in yesterday after he ate a stick and was clearly distressed, pawing at his face. They assembled the squad and managed to pull it out in a matter of seconds after realizing it was lodged in the back of his mouth. I walked out a few mins later, like nothing happened. Thanks team for making an ER visit as pleasant an experience as it could be and taking good care of Apollo!

I took both of my cats here within 4 days of each other for unrelated incidents. One of them having to be hospitalized. I couldn’t be more grateful for the care that we all received at VEG. I apologize I don’t remember anyone’s name but I dealt with 3 of the doctors in my time there and they were all incredibly thorough, knowledgeable and caring even in the early hours between 2-5am. All of the techs and nurses handled my boys with care and I felt very comfortable that they were in good hands. Once my boy was hospitalized they let me stay with him in a quiet space. I eventually had to leave to take care of my other cat at home and when I was ready to go back the doctor called to give me an update and assured me that he was doing well and reminded me to also take care of myself because I had not slept. Even when calling with follow up questions and advice they were incredibly reassuring and informative. The whole staff was compassionate and supportive towards both me and my pets and the competency and efficiency was top notch. I can’t recommend them more.

Very sweet and thoughtful staff! I had to get my cat checked with multiple tests and they handled her very well and answered all my questions patiently. Dominick was a very kind and helped us get settled, and one of the receptionists (?) even gave me some of her delicious homemade cookies! I really appreciate the radiology staff as well for keeping my baby still and soothed during a bunch of scary tests. The only issue was that there was only 1 vet in when i arrived, so we had to wait about an hour and a half after being checked by the tech to be seen by the doctor.

No one wants to end up at the ER with their pet but if you ever find yourself in that situation, your baby will be in excellent hands at VEG. Brought my baby Bronson in after he chewed off and swallowed the top of his toothbrush. The entire staff was so kind and helpful throughout the process. Dr. Hannah DeZara explained everything in detail and made sure Bronson was comfortable. They successfully removed the toothbrush from his stomach and made sure he was in good shape before they sent us home. Highly recommend!
