We contacted Lara to help our dog Maple overcome his anxiety in public places, improve his leash walking, and much more. Lara is a kind, caring, and patient person. I highly recommend her! I am so trilled with the behavior training my two dogs have received from Wag and Paw. They have done a complete 180 in terms of their behavior on walks and around other dogs. Lara does an incredible job coaching both dog and owner with how to handle difficult situations and interactions. Her instructions are clear and easy to follow, and its amazing to see how well the dogs respond to the structure. I am so thankful to have found Lara and I highly recommend her services!

Lara managed to turn our wild little puppy into a polite little girl. I appreciated how Lara helped me learn how to manage puppy tantrums with grace :). Our baby also learned how to have confidence around the big dogs and stay in her ‘place’ on the cot. Naturally she also learned loose leash walking, which I love💕💕💕

I am very happy with the services provided by Wag and Paw training, they brought back hope to my pack! This review is about my two senior Yorkshire Terriers, Gizdo and Tubsi (12 and 11 years old) I needed to work on their separation anxiety issues and crate training. Both of them came from Guatemala and moving to a new country was very stressful for them, I’ve tried different trainers before and all of them gave up, I was advised to give anti anxiety meds to my dogs because they were not going to be successful in their training due to their anxiety issues. I felt sad to hear that and basically was hopeless until I met Lara from Wag and Paw training and she said she could work with them. I swear the results are amazing! I am so happy to see that my senior dogs are more confident in their day to day, barking was reduced, and I can finally sleep through the night without having to wake up to potty accidents in bed since they are both happy to sleep on their crates. I fully recommend Wag and Paw training to help with separation anxiety issues and crate training, they are the best! Also they were great at communicating, I received updates everyday, and in addition to the training they were mindful about their health issues and were on top of it by giving them their meds and special diet as instructed. I totally trust them with my loved pack and I would recommend these services to anyone who want to see real change and who are willing to do the job to keep up with the training habits.

Lara is a miracle worker – she has a true passion for working with dogs and it shows. Our little anxious pup came back to us calm and confident! Her structured programs also include a game plan for pet parents to follow at home, which has been a game changer. I also appreciate her diligence in sending us daily detailed updates of our pup, which included progress updates and videos of how-to’s which were helpful for future reference. There’s no one else I’d trust to train our little pup but her. So glad I found Wag and Paw Training!
