I initially used Wapner Presley to help me file my late taxes, and my lender recommended them during my home-buying process; my former tax person had passed away. This is my second year working with this company, and they provide prompt, Grade A service, with pricing comparable to other tax service companies. I like the convenience and user-friendly website, where I can upload my tax documents, communicate with their team, and pay my invoice without hassle. I will continue to use them and highly recommend them.

STAY AWAY! TL;DR: Things used to be great here, but they've tanked. 2.5 months later, still no filing. I previously had an outstanding experience with John Rukosky. He was extremely communicative, helpful, efficient, and accurate. I have a couple investments that always deliver my tax documents extremely late, but John was accommodating each year I worked with him and kept me up to date on my return throughout the process. Unfortunately, John retired and my experience with Wapner Presley took a dramatic nose dive. I sent in my tax forms on April 2 (as soon as I received my last docs). That's very late and I expected to pay extra, file an extension, or take another action. No problem. Tom Presley communicated as much and I was fine with that. On April 15th, Tom said he's take care of any needed extension and "should have [my] return done by the end of the week." Great! Unfortunately, everything after that has been a stress-inducing mess. After hearing nothing, I attempted to contact Tom again on June 2, and again on the 16th. Nothing. I called Tom and left messages for both he and his business partner. I finally got a response on June 18th, saying my return was almost done, but a couple documents were needed. I followed up the same day. Tom replied with an additional question on the 19th, which I answered the same day. Since June 19th, I've heard absolutely nothing from Tom. I sent more messages through their portal on July 9th, 22nd, and 29th asking for updates. Nothing. The IRS doesn't have my return. No communication. I'm now delinquent on my filing and need to figure out how to fix this situation. I even asked Tom if their workload was too heavy, said I understood, and just asked for communication. Still, nothing. You really can't get worse service from CPA. I'm at a loss as to what happened here.

This is my second year using WapnerPresley and I am very satisfied. Tom was very thorough and quick. I was able to go into the office and get my taxes done. He was very knowledgeable and I was in and out in no time. I really enjoyed using him. Highly recommended
