I had my wedding here and was extremely pleased!! First, the price for all day and we did not have to worry about set up of chairs tables and extra things.. amazing. All we had to do was decorate. Now I will say the only downfall is the set up. You only get to set up the day of. I think that should change. definitely if you pay for a full day. I totally understand the policy regarding why, But I do still think if you’re paying for a full day, you should be able to access the room earlier. I will say that we were able to access the room 30 minutes earlier. Other than that, that would be my only negative. Overall, it was a beautiful venue a great time.. The deposit was very reasonable, even with alcohol And under 100 guest. Even more amazing was just the aspect of how organized everything was. It was a very easy process. We didn’t have to worry about anyone coming in on our venue.. Would definitely recommend couples getting married or even having your reception there. You didn’t have to worry about putting anything away that they set up for you. You had a full kitchen to keep things cold or things warm regarding your food, which was very beautiful. Literally most of the things that you would have to pay out-of-pocket for to bring into a venue. You didn’t have to worry about that there. And another great bonus you can use whomever you want from catering to decorating to whatever you don’t have to use in House recommendations. Just think, here in Colorado most venues starting prices for 100 guest, is gonna run you at least 10 grand. And that’s not including a full kitchen with all amenities that’s not going to include all your tables and chairs that’s not going to include the lighting the ambience and probably not a lot of smiles because that’s a lot of money for a wedding. But imagine you paying only less than three grand and you get more than what you were bargaining for in a positive way. So With all that being said, take the leap and reserve your next event here. I promise you, it will be worth it.

We used the ballroom available at the Wheat Ridge Recreational center for our post wedding celebration and it was AMAZING!! The space was perfect for the amount of guests we had and looked so lovely!! They even let us have a food truck parked out front for our guests to enjoy with zero issue at all. The gentleman that was there to assist us was so helpful and quick whenever we needed anything at all. This place is so much more than just a rec center and I will definitely be using their party space again in the future! Shout out to Katie Waters for being amazing every step of the way and answering my million questions during the planning process!!!

This recreation center offers a lot to the community. My favorite offering is the personal training! Dennis helped me gain my strength and confidence back! I highly recommend Dennis as a personal trainer!

While we love the facilities at this Rec Center, the lap pool schedule has gotten to be too frustrating/impractical. A majority of the lanes are reserved all afternoon and evening for various swim teams, leaving all other lap swimmers to share 1-2 lanes. Keep this in mind if you are someone who prefers lap swimming in the evenings after work.

The management doesn't care about the rights of the disabled. There are 2 bathrooms that are setup to deal with he needs of the disabled and the signage is not large enough and in the correct location for people to read. I have included a pic of the signage at the bathroom along with a notice that the Lap pool will be closed. The document about the Lap pool is a full sheet with large lettering including Attention. I have asked numerous times including comment cards and emails to the City. This place was great before I became disabled, now I have to wait up to 30 minutes to change for families that aren't disabled and when I ask they had no idea about this. BE BETTER WHEAT RIDGE!!!!
