Megan is incredible! I found her through a Google search and I am so glad she had a time slot open up. My third grader was STRUGGLING with math. She would shut down, clench up and have trouble focusing during her math homework. My child is a completely different person now. She is so much more confident, she does her own math homework without any tears or fighting. She enjoys meeting with Megan each week and continues to grow exponentially in her math skills. We love Megan so much and are truly grateful to have her guidance!
I hired Mrs. Wilkinson to develop a plan for my daughter who was going to start homeschooling in the middle of her 9th grade year and is taking Geometry. She did a good job reviewing the curriculum I have chosen for my daughter and comparing it to what she had already been taught. Her advice allowed me to decide what was the best way to start my daughter in her second semester. She was knowledgeable in different teaching styles. She also was very patient with my daughter and talked to her in a gentle manner. I will definitely consider hiring her as a tutor in the future if my daughter requires it. :)
Megan is awesome with my son Xavier. She does a great job spending time with him to explain lessons and sets high expectations with him. She is a great and very effective math tutor. We noticed a nice jump in his grades since he’s been with Megan!
Megan has tutored my middle school children this past year and I've seen tremendous progress in their math skills and comprehension. My daughter has aced math this year and my son who is great at math, but tries to rush through it, has learned to slow down, show his work and focus more. Megan is amazing!!
Mrs. Wilkinson tutored my daughter during the summer between her 6th and 7th grade year. She had my daughter take past STAAR tests in order to assess the concepts that my daughter need to work on. From there, she was able to tailor their tutoring sessions to the areas where my daughter needed the most help. Megan is sweet and caring, and she really helped to boost my daughter’s confidence in her math skills. My daughter was nervous to have a tutor at first, but Megan made her feel right at ease. She has loved her tutoring sessions, and she is recalling what Mrs. Wilkinson taught her as she is working through her math homework now. We are so happy we found Mrs. Wilkinson and would recommend her to anyone needing a math tutor!
