I was away in Cardiff for the night and I dropped in at Xplore BJJ. Coach Dan is super knowledgeable and creates a relaxed welcoming environment. If you are visiting the Cardiff area I’d highly recommend visiting this gym, whether you are a beginner or advanced in the sport you’ll find something for you! I’ll definitely be going back when I’m next in the area!

Been going here for the last couple months and have only had good experiences with it. The coach Daniel teaches very relevant techniques that I always find work in a roll, and he also explains BJJ concepts within the techniques that help you get a better understanding of the position. He's also very patient and clear when explaining a step that you may be struggling with. Additionally, the whole community within Xplore BJJ is so welcoming and willing to help, which I find really beneficial for a sense of belonging and in progression. Can't recommend this place enough if you want to get into BJJ.

The instructor was welcoming and explained the techniques clearly, creating a supportive environment where I felt comfortable learning and asking questions. Coach Daniel was great, good friendly competitive atmosphere. Great method do conveying the technique in a simple easy to understand manner. Worked some since details from half guard, knee shield + reverse half. Definitely recommend if you’re passing by.

Attended the Open Mat Xplore Bjj was great to visit with everyone there was happy to welcome and roll with me. The level of the gym was high with a variety of different belts and experience sizes and everyone rolled safely. Would recommend and I hope to attend a class next time I’m in cardiff
