Friendly classmates, challenging 70 minute class. Instructor was easy to see and follow. I've never taken classes with so many men before. Some people do random handstands and more difficult poses than the instructions, but to each their own. Be sure and clean your mat well with alcohol before class, I should have done a better job at that. On the hippie side, but what yoga studio in CA isn't? A positive experience.
I absolutely love Vinyasa because it really makes me break a good sweat. The instructors are so kind, and I love the flow of the class. My absolute favorite thing is the practice of gratitude after each session. Love this studio!
I've tried numerous yoga studios over the years, but this is the only one that has stuck. Great instructors. Simple, unpretentious vibe. They offer a healthy mix of Vinyasa and Yin. I also love that it's not hot yoga, which I can't stand. What I appreciate most about this place is that the many of the poses are challenging enough for beginners without being intimidating or frustrating, and for the more experienced members, the instructors offer extensions or alternatives to those poses that meet them at their more advanced level.
This is the yoga study I’ve been looking for. Local, NOT hot yoga (not sure why all yoga studios in Sac seem to be hot yoga) and have restorative classes. Dream come true. However, only big downside is once I stepped into the class, there just didn’t seem like good air ventilation as I smelled garlic, or some other odd scent throughout the class. Is there a way this can be addressed as I’d love to continue to come more! Thank you!
Where to start!!!? This place is truly wonderful. All of the teachers are excellent and varied in their teaching style. Tyler's class seems to be my recent favorite, but I do love Bill & Annie's as well. Comfortable room with old timey wood floors & ample space. Loaner mats, towels, & love are always available for free! Tyler & Annie's classes are usually class is paired with beautiful music and really help to set the tone. I have been doing yoga regularly for a little over a year mostly due in large part to this place & these people. I can say I have truly found my yoga "home"!!
