Ahimsa is truly outstanding. The owner, trainers, and staff are extremely knowledgeable and skilled, genuinely care for dogs, and are all around wonderful humans. Our puppy is attending a number of their class offerings, and each and every one of them is fantastic: Puppy Kindergarten is a superbly-structured 6-week series that taught us and our pup fundamental skills; Day Training gave us an opportunity to deep-dive on specific skills; Puppy Playtime, which he's still attending, is teaching him proper play and up/downregulation; and we're about to start Fun and Focus, their puppy/teen agility class. The 1:1 training sessions we booked have been just as valuable, with trainers available to meet at our home or another location that makes sense for the behavior being worked on. As someone whose late dog was severely reactive following a dog attack, I know the world of dog training better than I'd like to...and Ahimsa shines as a bright star in it.

We were initially on the fence about professional dog training because there are so many free resources online but I am SO glad we decided to do in-person training with Ahimsa!!! They break down training concepts in easily digestible ways, give you takeaways to practice with your dog at home, and give you real world scenarios to relate to the training concepts you're learning. It's made the whole process a lot less overwhelming. We also love that our pup is able to practice in a structured environment, around other dogs and people. We've learned SO much. Cannot emphasize enough how wonderful this facility is. We're excited to continue our training journey to make sure our puppy is the goodest boy.

Ahimsa is my mini Australian Labradoodle's favorite place in the world besides home. It is a safe and welcoming place for dogs and humans alike. I have learned so much about how to interact with Agnes over the past year plus that we have been taking classes at Ahimsa. When I prepared for my first trip without my pup I was a ball of stress until I found out Ahimsa offered boarding for small dogs. She was as happy there as she is at home. And they sent me daily videos and answered all my new dog mom questions. I wish I could give them 10 stars! A pic of Agnes taking a nap after playing with her buddy Noodle at Ahimsa Boarding below.

We absolutely love everything about Ahimsa. We did a little training with them back when our older dogs were young and have gone through Puppy Kindergarten, Puppy Elementary, Puppy Playtime, Puppy Fun and Focus and multiple weeks of Puppy Day Training with two Great Pyrenees puppies in the past 3 years. Every single trainer has been incredibly helpful overall and specifically when we have had extra questions or needed to troubleshoot anything. I honestly wouldn't take a new dog or puppy anywhere else for training. Absolutely love them and would recommend them to anyone!

A game changer. I recommend them to everyone I know! Helped us with our spicy older dog, our quirky middle dog - and now have helped us transform our terribly shy and scared newly adopted puppy into a sweet considerate happy girl. Our new puppy has taken: Puppy Kindergarten, did three Day Training weeks, as many Puppy Playtimes as we could get our hands on, and we just signed her up for Puppy Elementary. We've made forever friends in these classes and can't wait to continue her journey with this amazing team!
