Butler Street Motors always does the work in a timely fashion at a reasonable price. They shoot straight with you when they find something else that needs to be done. They’re never trying to sell you something you don’t need. They do great work.

I had an urgent issue with my car and they were able to work me into their schedule quickly. They also informed me of an issue with a “check engine” light. We discussed how to address the problem without trying to sell me a bunch of services that I could do without. They basically put themselves in my shoes and made solid suggestions. They earned my trust and I would recommend them.

My car only had around 900 miles on it since last inspection. I took it in and received a long list of things needed for inspection. They were up to over $2K for parts and I stopped them before they got to labor costs. I feel that tires and brakes don't wear out in 900 miles. Suspension failure (they said the vehicle rear was resting on the bump stops) a simple push on the bumper showed that I have several inches of downward travel. It sits a little low. That was dishonest in my opinion. Even though they were friendly, if I can't trust them, I will not be giving them any more money. It would have cost several thousand dollars to inspect my 18 year old car that's probably only worth about $2500. They didn't even lock my car when they parked it a block away !

I will always come to Butler Street Motorworks! Last year I took my car to 3 separate mechanics for inspection; each told me something different was wrong with my car and each fix more expensive than the last. I finally found butler st and all I needed was new tires and brakes… They are always honest, helpful, and efficient with my car needs. Highly recommend to anyone in the area!
