If I could rate this place based on the way I was spoken to today by corporate I would rate it a zero. I went in to cancel my membership due to feeling like the whole process was a money grab. My feelings were undermined all because I wanted to cancel and I felt that way. I completely understand that it is their job to stand with their employees but if I am unhappy with something it should be ok to express that. I was asked what could be done to change how I feel despite already explaining why I wanted to cancel, I expressed that there was nothing that could be done and I would just get equipment and workout at home. I was told that I would not see results from working out at home and he (the head corporate guy) insinuated that my concerns weren’t valid enough to cancel my membership. Thank God I have tough skin, that could’ve damaged someone else. Beware that the number on the website leads nowhere, at the Norfolk location there’s no way to physically speak with anyone so you have to physically go in. Such an inconvenience. I will admit that the front desk associates and the PT trainer manager Alex was amazing and they all listened to me without belittling my feelings. However, things need to change with corporate. This was my second bad experience with a gym. It sucks because I was super excited to start my journey.

This brand new Crunch Fitness boasts excellent equipment, and I hope both members and the cleaning staff keep it well-maintained. The gym offers ample parking, though better lighting in the parking lot would be appreciated. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and I highly recommend downloading the Crunch app for access to classes, deals, and more. The gym’s hours are fantastic, with some days being open 24/7, which is great given how busy it gets! They offer various membership tiers, so please search online to find the one that suits your needs. You might also qualify for a gym membership through your workplace, so shop around to get the best deals!

I signed up pre-opening for 1 month free and was excited to work out here because of the included childcare. Unfortunately when I came for a tour I was disappointed that the childcare area contained very little toys at all and a TV that is always on. Personally I am uncomfortable with having my 2 year old watch TV the entire time I work out, and not being able to control what he watches. (Though I’m sure this is fine with some parents!) I let them know that the facility looked great, but I would like to cancel my membership because I was uncomfortable with the childcare. In order to cancel, I was then made to pay over $90 in membership dues and fees for a gym that I did not work out at even once. The manager said there was nothing he could do and there was no corporate number I could call. I was very unsatisfied with the customer service and frustrated. If you want to go to this gym make 100% sure it is for you before you give them your credit card. The facility looks clean and machines and classes seem awesome, unfortunately I was just disappointed with childcare and then their lack of customer care. Perhaps this is my fault for not reading every single line of the contract when I signed up, but it was really advertised as a risk free trial, which it clearly wasn’t. If anyone reaches out from the gym and is actually able to help me, I will edit this review.

4 stars for the actual gym itself, no real complaints. Joined because they advertised hot yoga at the fraction of what traditional hot yoga costs (since it is included in the membership). If you are familiar with yoga and are expecting this to be an actual yoga class, do not take it or buy into the membership for it. It is dynamic stretching and a concentrated core workout at best. No consistent flow and not peaceful. People talking, interrupting class multiple times, people from outside of the actual class walked into the class joking around, loud upbeat music, etc. It is a good workout class and the instructor was super nice and upbeat if you're just looking for that, but by all means is not an actual yoga class. Also the room wasn't very hot to be considered hot yoga.

Had a great experience at this gym so far! The kickoff session and body scan were amazing and made me feel really supported right from the start. Shout out to Trey Walker— kept my workout fun but challenging. The facility is large, super clean, and everyone I interacted with was so helpful and friendly. They do offer personal training, which is on the pricier side, but honestly well worth it if you need that extra accountability and it fits within your budget. I’m really looking forward to the next couple of months—especially trying out different classes and relaxing in the sauna!
