I recently moved to Richmond and needed to find a place to take my pup once or twice a week for daycare and occasional boarding. She’s never been boarded or gone to daycare until now and the staff was so friendly, even let me call to check on her the first couple times. They always recognize her now, give me updates and she absolutely loves going and comes home tuckered out which is a feat in itself. Nothing but good things to say about this place.

Four Paws Pet Resort (Fan location) takes excellent care of my two dogs whenever they board there. They always come home happy and completely exhausted in the best way. I feel very comfortable leaving them in such a caring, fun environment, which allows me to truly enjoy my trip. Bailey, the manager, is outstanding, positive, communicative, and professional. I love seeing her friendly face every time I drop off my dogs. Highly recommend!

This place is so awesome! I started going there in 2008 and my dog LOVED it. It was the only thing that truly tired her out. She passed away so i hadnt been there in several years. Fast forward to my new dog who loves it equally! I was shocked at how little the price went up from 2008 to 2025. It is so affordable and you can even book in a reasonably priced bath before pick up! I'm so happy this place exists and takes such good care of my four legged family member.

Have been bringing our dogs here for about almost decade and have no complaints. Both our older Chihuahuas and now our young cattledog always look forward to going. Check your pups paws if they are sensitive. When we unexpectedly had to leave our pups for two weeks, one did get an abscess due to running around on the gravel. But that's been the only concern after all this time, and they also made sure to inform us!

Love love love this place! My young pup is still learning to socialize and I did tons of research on places in the Richmond area to take him for daycare. I was anxious dropping him off for the first time about a month ago. He can be very nervous around playful dogs and we have been taking him to playgroups for months with little improvement. However, since he has been going to daycare at Four Paws in the Fan his confidence has grown so much and he has really begun to love playing! They even took photos of him playing on his first day to ease my nerves. I recently drove by the building with my pup in the car, on the way to somewhere else, and he was so mad I wasn't taking him to daycare! We have been back numerous times over the past month and my pup just has the best time. Cannot recommend this place enough!!
